    Womens's Institute: Open to women of all ages. Social & educational. We like to try new ideas & skills. 7.15pm Apr-Oct, 2.15pm Nov-March. First Monday of the month except BHs. New members welcome. Christine 01751 431571


    Oasis: all are welcome to drop in for a coffee, a chat or simply a quiet space. Weekly on a Tuesday morning from 10am to 11.30am

    Tuesday Group: affiliated to ‘Methodist Women in Britain’. Discussions, speakers, worship, visits, activities and food. Friendship and fellowship. Second and fourth Tuesdays monthly at 7.00pm. New members most welcome. Contact Daisy 01753 431429

    Ryedale Natural History Society: indoor meetings 3rd Tuesdays at 7:30pm in winter and field outings through the summer. Contact Pauline Popley


    Community Fridge: weekly at 9:30am on a Wednesday. Aims to reduce the amount of food waste from businesses going to landfill. Open to anyone.

    Next Steps: an organisation supporting people with mental health problems and well-being issues They provide a drop-in centre and outreach group with activities, access to statutory services and advice from public bodies. Their ultimate aim is to develop self-confidence for members, improve their work prospects, help support positive family relationships and prevent loneliness and isolation. Weekly on a Wednesday.

    Rainbows: “Rainbows is exciting, messy, friendly and a lot of fun!”. For 5-7 year olds. WWeekly on Wednesday in term-time, 5-6pm. Contact : Jo Maxwell

    Brownies: “The Brownie Adventure is about trying new things that teach girls about themselves, their community and their world”. For 7 – 11 year olds. Weekly on a Wednesday in term time, 6.15-7.30pm. Contact Angela Rooke

    Community Luncheon Club: 12.30pm - The Community Luncheon Club works with Ryedale Community Foodbank, Ryedale Carers, Next Steps and Churches Together in Kirkbymoorside. It will provide not only a hot meal but also a warm safe space and enable social interaction. All are welcome. If you are willing and wish to help on an occasional basis, that would be gratefully appreciated.


    Parent and Toddlers: Informal and happy group for toddlers and their parents/carers/grandparents. Toys, activities and singing. New members welcome — just turn up! Term time, 9.30 - 11am


    Sarah Louise Ashworth School of Dance: Classes in ballet, tap, jazz, acro, contemporary, singing & drama. Exam & performance opportunities along with fun and fitness. Weekly during term time.
